This heart-warming vegetarian sausage casserole is comfort food at its best. Our recipe calls for root vegetables but feel free to adapt and swap with whatever veg you might like, such as beans, mushrooms or peppers. 
Our Green Cuisine Sausages are packed with pea protein goodness. Just be prepared - as soon as the sizzling sausages are out of the oven, everyone will gather round the table!

Preparation

  1. Add the fresh sage to the pot
  2. Cook your Green Cuisine Meat-Free Sausages as per instructions on pack
  3. Boil the vegetables in just enough water to cover them 
  4. Chop up the carrots, parsnips, swede and onions into chunks
  5. Take out the sausages, slice in a thick diagonal shape and add to the casserole
  6. Give a quick stir and enjoy
  7. Thicken the casserole with vegetarian gravy granules
